Here is the reality.
This country was born and founded as a republic. Our founders set forth a set of rules to guide us into being the greatest, most powerful nation on earth.
Fast forward to the 20th century when the progressives decided they didn't like our country. They have been, ever since trying to change it into something not dreamed of by our founding fathers.
Parties on both sides have been amending our constitution to make it say what they want. Each amendment opens the constitution to the next amendment until we have something totally unrecognizable.
There are a great many of us who love this country and our constitution just the way it was meant to be. So for those of you who want to compare our country to anther country, I say move there! Why should we have to change this great place we call home just to please you, when there is already a place like that you can move to.
For us, there is no other place like this, so leave it alone.
